Under its volunteering program, UVolunteer, Umniah, in collaboration with Nahno, the national platform for youth volunteering and participation organized a volunteering campaign for its employees in support of support the efforts of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) in mobilizing in-kind support boxes for our people in Gaza at JHCO’s warehouses in Al Mafraq.

Wajeeha Al-Husseini, Umniah’s Communications Director: “At Umniah, we stand united with the Palestinians during this critical time. Our support for Gaza and its people is unwavering, and we encourage our employees to actively participate and engage in volunteer activities to aid our brethren and alleviate their suffering.”

Al-Husseini added “This initiative allows us to contribute to the national humanitarian efforts and assist those affected by recent Israeli aggression, especially children, women, and civilians. We aim to provide essential support to alleviate their suffering.”

In addition to volunteer activities, Umniah donated JOD 50,000 to JHCO for urgent medical and relief supplies in Gaza. They also encouraged customers to donate through its loyalty rewards program UCoin. This step aligns with Umniah’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, promoting solidarity and support for Arab brethren during crises.

Furthermore, Umniah has previously offered 1,000 free minutes to all prepaid and postpaid mobile customers, facilitating connectivity with loved ones across Palestine.
