Partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali

April 2, 2023 – As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, Umniah launched its activities for the holy month of Ramadan under its annual campaign ‘Umniah Al-Khair’ for the sixth consecutive year in partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali.
The initiative will run from March 28th to April 21st and will include activities carried out by Umniah’s youth team and other employees through the company’s UVolunteer program, as well as in collaboration with ‘Nahno,’ the platform for National Youth Engagement and Volunteering. This year’s program includes packing food parcels to be distributed to underprivileged families in the governorates of Al Karak and Al Mafraq. Umniah will also hold its annual Iftar at the Tkiyet Um Ali headquarters in Al-Mahatta, where a Umniah’s employees will volunteer to serve hot meals as part of the Tkiyet’s daily ‘Mawaed Al Rahman’ throughout the holy month.
Umniah also renewed its partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali for the sixth consecutive year to sponsor 196 individuals, making up 47 families who live below the poverty line. Umniah will be providing these families with monthly food parcels that include items to meet their nutritional needs for an entire year.

Umniah’s Chief Commercial Officer, Zaid Al-Ibrahim stated, “We are always keen of leaving a positive imprint during the Holy Month of Ramadan, which reflects our principles of unity, cooperation and community belonging as we continue to pursue our role throughout the year in supporting individuals and empowering local communities.”

Al-Ibrahim added, “Today, we are proud to continue working and cooperating with our strategic partners Tkiyet Um Ali and the ‘Nahno’, who aim to promote volunteer work and maximize the impact of this campaign and its role in contributing to achieving sustainable and comprehensive development in the country.”

Al-Ibrahim praised Tkiyet Um Ali’s efforts to combat hunger by providing food to those in need across the Kingdom. In addition to the significant role that ‘Nahno’ plays in encouraging volunteer work and youth participation in contributing to positive change in their communities. Al-Ibrahim also expressed his pride in Umniah’s youth unit team and employees who are always present at Umniah’s various activities.

Tkiyet Um Ali is one of the Kingdom’s leading non-governmental organizations, having made a significant impact in charity work, consolidating the concepts of justice and equality, and promoting acts of kindness among Jordanians. Umniah is proud to support and collaborate with such an organization.

Since its establishment, ‘Umniah Al Khair’ has adopted all the giving back initiatives under its umbrella. It aims to support many community and development initiatives that take place throughout the year, contributing to community development.
